Hobart needs to create an environment for sensible,sustainable development which is conducive to building strong tourism and business sectors, that will attract private investment, continue the growth of the hospitality industry, creating jobs and growing our retail sector.

 
 We can’t have a council that just throws its hands in the air when challenged with increasing visitor numbers and a growing population.

To build this environment in Hobart, we need an open-minded council that looks at all developments on their merits - a council that is receptive to investment: “How can we help you make it happen” rather than stopping them before they even get to the starting line.
